Hello 😊,
I’m Stacey Landstra, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), currently completing my Master’s degree at the University of Yorkville. I have a deep passion for research and learning, especially in the fields of science, psychology, and religion. This passion, coupled with my profound compassion for helping others and advocating for mental health policy change, has led me to a fulfilling career as a psychotherapist.
Throughout my work, family life, and volunteer roles, I’ve gained a diverse range of experiences that have shaped my ability to connect with and support individuals on their journey to healing and growth. I’ve had the privilege of working with youth and families facing mental health disorders, addictions, refugee and immigration challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, and more. This experience allows me to approach each situation with an open mind and a compassionate heart.
I am dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome barriers, whether they are small or complex. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, addressing the mind, body, and spirit, recognizing the interconnectedness of all aspects of well-being. My own faith deeply influences my life journey, and I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore many topics, including faith and culture, and how they contribute to overall wellness.
I look forward to being a part of your healing journey.
