Biography

My journey began in healthcare. I hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), but my passion for serving others started long before that. From a young age, I was drawn to volunteering, community development, and helping people build healthy habits and environments. That passion is now leading me toward further studies in public health.

Over time, I came to believe that true stability begins with mental and emotional well-being, and that everything else in life builds on that foundation. This belief brought me to Resilience Counseling Research & Consultation, where I found a place that brings together my interests and my commitment to my community.

As Clinical Administrator, I support the clinic's day-to-day operations so that clients and therapists can focus on the work that matters most. I also lead our outreach efforts, connecting with community members and organizations to raise awareness about mental health and make support more accessible.

Why the Fig Tree?

I chose the fig tree because it reflects many qualities that are important to who I am. From the outside, its fruit may look simple, but inside, it holds beautiful details and a unique sweetness.

I admire the fig tree for being strong, resilient, and self-sufficient. It does not require much care to grow, yet it continues to produce and give. I relate to this because I value adapting, growing through different experiences, relying on myself, and being a source of support and generosity to others.

To me, the fig tree is a reminder to stay rooted in my values, continue growing, and always have something meaningful to give. It also reminds me that what we see on the outside does not always reveal the depth, experiences, and qualities a person carries within.
