Biography

I am an Intake Coordinator and Translator with a background in Psychology and experience in mental health administration, research, and client support. I am passionate about creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for individuals and families as they take the first step toward accessing mental health support.

In my role, I assist clients throughout the intake process, helping them navigate services and connecting them with the appropriate care. As a translator, I also support communication between clients and the clinic, helping ensure that language is never a barrier to receiving support and that each client feels understood and respected.

I am currently completing my undergraduate degree it Western University with a double major in Psychology and Childhood and Youth Studies. My academic and professional experiences have strengthened my understanding of mental health, human behaviour, and the importance of compassionate, individualized care.

I approach my work with empathy, patience, and professionalism. I strive to make every client feel welcomed, heard, and supported from their very first interaction with our clinic.

Why the Magnolia Tree?

The magnolia tree is known for its beautiful, welcoming blooms, strong roots, and ability to flourish with time and care. Its large, delicate flowers can symbolize warmth, dignity, resilience, and new beginnings.

The magnolia feels like a meaningful reflection of the Intake Coordinator role. Just as the tree creates a sense of beauty and welcome, the first point of contact with a centre can help someone feel comfortable, heard, and supported. Behind its gentle appearance is a strong foundation — much like the organization and care that goes into guiding individuals through intake, assessment, and the next steps of their journey.
